Thomas Halliwell Applied Their MER Expertise To Complete A Full Fit-Out on Two Cold Storage Facilities for Yearsley Group
As the topic of renewable energy gains more awareness, more businesses are considering environmentally conscious solutions to reduce their carbon footprint. Working alongside Solar Choice UK, the Thomas Halliwell team completed the commercial installation of Yearsley Group’s two cold storages facilities in Chesterfield and Heywood. The team flexibly worked around the clients production schedule, working on weekends and shutdowns were required to commission the system, putting the clients needs first.

The team got to work on both sites and installed 250KW Solar PV panels, including tray work containment, distribution boards, working in confined spaces, AC/DC isolators. Each project took 6 weeks to complete, and greatly improved the facility’s emissions and energy efficiencies.
